Finding Your Medicine
for HEALERS in TRAINING

People with the desire to become healers often spend a great deal of time
searching for their "medicine". For the twelveth time, I will
be offering advanced training for those people seriously interested in
furthering their experience of shamanism. You will learn many new skills
and have opportunities to work with these skills within a close community.
This group meets together in Eugene, OR, for twelve days, usually one
or two days per month.
The training will encompass the skills and ecstatic practices shamans
have used throughout time to keep themselves and their communities healthy.
You will be trained in the following areas:
shamanic extraction
merging for greater healing
soul retrieval and integration
working with issues of death and dying
helping spirits to cross over (psychopomp)
divination
uncovering your personal relationship to the mythic aspect of shamanism
vision questing
and numerous methods of empowerment and initiation into shamanic practice.
I hope to share much of what I know to be most valuable in personal and
healing work. The days will be packed!
The intent of this extended training is to develop a community of healers
and practitioners committed to bringing shamanic principles into their
everyday lives. You will have the option of offering your healing skills
to the Eugene Healing Circle when you feel ready.
During this training you are also encouraged to study with other healers and shamans. You are encouraged to empower yourself. My role in your training is guidance, open-hearted support, and enthusiastic teaching.
Healing is all about learning to come from a place of love, high ethical
standards, and open-heartedness.
The cost for the training is $95 per day. You must make a commitment for
the entire training. The intention is that we develop cohesiveness as
a group, which will allow us to go deeper into the material.
The pre-requisite for this class is that you are journeying successfully
and have a working relationship with your helping spirit(s). For most
people, it is helpful to take an introductory journey class. This class
is for people who have moved past the majority of their personal issues
and are ready to reach out to help others. The focus of this class is
not for personal healing, though personal healing does happen in this
class as it does throughout life.
